The new line of pneumatic presses Athena takes up, and improves, the elastic-central-membrane and fully-perforated-tank pressing technology.

Operational and qualitative advantages of this technology:

Pressing times reduced at a half, thanks to the double draining surface
The reduced number of pressing and cake-breaking cycles results in high quality musts (less oxidation and less skin laceration)
Higher extraction and drainage of free-flowing juice during the loading phase
In the pressing phase, the mass of fruit is evenly distributed on the 360° draining surface, and the pressure distribution is even all over the mass
Maximum yields even at partial load
No clogging problems
Can press apples and pomegranates
Easy cleaning compared to presses with non-elastic central membrane

TECHNICAL ASSEMBLING FEATURES

Models from 14 hl to 100 hl
Entirely built in stainless-steel
High-thickness tubular elastic membrane in natural rubber, coaxial to the tank and supported by inner clevises
Manual or pneumatic loading valve, with DIN, Garolla or Tri-Clamp fittings
Large door or double door (according to the model) for grapes loading and marcs discharge
Side doors on both sides of the chassis
Must hopper and two sliding skids; the back skid can be extracted for easy cleaning
Omron automation (PLC and touch-screen)
Omron colour HMI, with 4 pre-installed languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian)
IP66-protection control board
Electromechanical pushbutton for manual operations, with cable, allowing to operate the press while moving around it
Washing pipe with nozzles, for high-pressure tank washing
